Overview

We built a role-based management system for HMFlytt, a Swedish moving and cleaning company. Office and field teams use it to manage jobs, customers, staff, calendar scheduling, attendance, invoices, revenue, and job photos — replacing scattered spreadsheets with a single green-branded operations dashboard.

HMFlytt’s public website handles marketing and booking; this project is the back-office system their team runs day to day. Managers plan flytt, städning, and dödsbo jobs, assign staff, and follow the schedule on a calendar. Field staff see assigned work, log attendance and hours, and upload before/after photos. Finance views cover invoices (print/PDF), payments (including Swish), outstanding balances, and exportable reports. Access is split across four roles — Admin, Manager, Field Staff, and Investor (read-only) — with permissions enforced in both the UI and API. Built for Swedish operations (SEK formatting, VAT, local service types) with HMFlytt’s green/teal brand.

Problem

Job planning, crew assignment, hours, invoicing, and photos lived in disconnected tools with no clear role-based access.
